It looks like Popup Advertisement windows are back at Delphi.
Im new to Delphi forums but from some of the posts I have read at the Delphi center it seems that from time to time Delphi institutes Popup windows.

*Note the best way that I have found to handle Popup advertisement windows on this or any forum is to Minimize the first popup. Dont close it just minimize it and browse to your hearts content, then when you leave Delphi close any advertisement windows that are minimized.

The real solution may be at hand. Delphi is about to offer a Premium forum package where there will be a monthly fee but there will be more services available and no advertisements. I have been looking into this and waiting for this option.

When Delphi offers the Premium package for forums Im almost certain that Basic Christian will purchase it.

Thank you for your patience, if I can be of any help Please let me know.

Does that mean we would have to pay to come into this forum?

No,
As I understand it a premium forum is a small monthly fee to be paid by the forum owner.

There is a work in progress to charge people as they enter certain forums. These are some forums (the so called adult smutt) ones that want people to pay as they enter the forum.

If for Any reason Basic Christian became an expence to the visitor I would Immediatly cease being on delphi.

*The premium forum is susposed to have a file transfer feature. I am very interested in this. I'm looking into a way to make the books that I have written a Free download from this forum.

Basic Christian will always be free. I hope that instead of Taking, Basic Christian is a place of Giving and of Blessing, as I am so Blessed by moderating this forum.

I'm glad to hear that David. I had heard about charge for the "adult" forums and was concerned that something was in the works to include all forums.
I appreciate your dedication to this ministry.

The internet as a whole is becoming less and less free to users.
The internet will probably change very much over the next few years in regards to Pay for accesses and also as far as Taxes being levied.

It will be interesting to see what changes do happen.

I intend to just stay flexible.
